Product Availability:

As a Value Added Reseller for Apple, we only have access to the quantity of product they make available to us.  We work through Apple's direct channel and with their authorized distribution centers, as per Apple policy.  

COVID-19 has impacted supply in a number of ways.  First, when China was hit with the epidemic, production of many Apple products, produced there, came to a halt.  Orders were still incoming, thus backorders started filling order queues across the world.  We are still working to overcome that backlog.  Further, priority allocation is going to healthcare needs and the like, fighting the epidemic worldwide.  It is a supply and demand factor, and it changes daily and in an unpredictable fashion. 

We are in communication with Apple daily, working to have product allocated to our orders and to provide updated estimated delivery dates as they are communicated to us by Apple.  Appogee is the only Apple Value Added Reseller in the United States that focuses solely on Apple product.  This, paired with 20 years of partnership with Apple, ensures high priority of filling your order.

Please know that our goal is always to provide you, our valued clients, with the highest level of customer service.  It is incredibly frustrating for us not to be able to immediately ship product upon receipt of order.  At this time, we are all learning how to navigate this new landscape together, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Shipping Methods/Carrier Updates:

Should you choose an expedited shipping method for your order, please note:

  1. If the product is not available for immediate shipment, you will be notified.  Should you wish to leave the expedited shipping method in place, it will be applied once the product is ready to ship.  You also have the option to update the shipping method to free ground service.
  2. Until further notice, carriers are currently NOT guaranteeing service levels with money-back claims.  Should you choose an expedited shipping method and the package does not arrive according to the service chosen (example:  you select 2nd-day shipping, but the package arrives on business day 3), we will not be able to refund those charges, as we are still being billed.  You can find updates regarding service levels, signature delivery, etc. on the specific carrier websites, such as Fed Ex and UPS.

Order Status:

To check the status of your order at any time, please log in to your Appogee online webstore account.  As we are provided details by Apple, we will update your order notes accordingly.

Cancellation Policy:

We are able to cancel your order at any point in time until it is prepared for shipment.  At that time, cancellation is not feasible.  As is stated in our return policy, custom build items, open box items, software and end-of-life/discontinued products are non-returnable.

Refunds:

When you place an order via Appogee's e-commerce store, your credit card is pre-authorized for the total amount of the order.  This amount is NOT debited from your account, but rather put on a temporary hold to confirm that the funds are available to cover your transaction.  We do NOT charge against the pre-authorization until the product ships.  Should you cancel an order prior to shipment preparation, the pre-authorization on the card will expire in a short period of time that is determined by your card-issuing bank.  Should you have questions in this regard, we recommend that you reach out to the card-issuing bank by using the telephone number found on the back of your credit card.
